The Houston Parks and Recreation Department and its Urban Foresters will soon have crews out on Richmond’s medians in St. George Place between South Rice Avenue and Hillcroft Avenue providing arbor care. Dead limbs will be removed and some branches pruned as needed to ensure safe clearances next to and over moving traffic lanes.

More than 140 trees will get this special attention, all of which will help promote leafy tree canopies and tree longevity. Traffic control is being provided to limit inconvenience to the motoring public and provide safe working conditions for the crews.

Work should be completed in the last week of May, weather depending.
